§ 7 Third-Party Services

We use third-party services to make our website more user-friendly, effective, and secure. This includes the use of analysis tools. We use analysis tools to analyze user behavior in order to optimize our website. Unless otherwise stated in this privacy policy, the use of analysis tools is based on the legal basis of legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. This is particularly the case if the service only collects pseudonymized data and the respective service does not use the data for its own purposes.

Google Services

We use services provided by Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, a company registered and operated under Irish law (registration number: 368047). The use of Google's services only occurs with your informed consent, based on Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, unless otherwise stated. In connection with the services and features, Google may use cookies that can be stored on your device. The information generated by the cookies (e.g., about your use of the website) may be transmitted to a server in the USA and stored there. This may also include your IP address. As a rule, your IP address is stored in anonymized form. When data is transmitted to the USA, an adequate level of data protection cannot be guaranteed. In particular, access by U.S. authorities cannot be ruled out. The transfer is based on Art. 49(1)(a) GDPR (consent).

We use the following Google services and features:

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to analyze the use of our website and regularly improve it. The statistics we gain allow us to improve our offering and make it more interesting for you as a user. We use Google Analytics with the "_anonymizeIp()" extension. This ensures that IP addresses are processed in shortened form, which excludes any direct personal identification. If any data collected about you is personally identifiable, it is immediately excluded, and the personal data is deleted without delay.

Google Ads

We use Google Ads to draw attention to our website on external websites or search engines. As part of this, we use the remarketing function of Google Ads. The remarketing function allows us to present users of our website with advertisements based on their interests on other websites within the Google advertising network. For this purpose, Google stores cookies on a specific device to uniquely identify a web browser. We do not receive any information that can be used to personally identify users. We also use conversion tracking. When you click on an ad placed by Google, a conversion tracking cookie is set. Each Google Ads customer receives a different cookie. The cookies cannot be tracked via the websites of Google Ads customers. The information collected using the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for Ads customers. We do not receive any information that can be used to personally identify users.

Google Tag Manager

We use Google Tag Manager. This service enables the efficient management of so-called "tags" (small code elements on the website). Among other things, this service allows us to more easily use other Google services.

Possibilities of objection

You have several options to object to or restrict the collection and processing of your data by Google:

  • You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly (not all functions of the website may be usable as a result).
  • You can prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de (Only applies to data collected and processed by Google Analytics).
  • You can revoke your consent to the processing of data by Google services at any time. You can do this by deleting the cookies in your browser and not giving your consent the next time you visit our website.
  • If you have a Google account, you can make settings for the type, scope and storage of data by Google in the account management under the menu item ‘Data & personalisation’.

Further information on the purpose and scope of data collection and processing can be found in Google's privacy policy https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de&gl=de.

Microsoft Services

We use various services provided by Microsoft Corporation (“Microsoft”), One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA) or Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited for EU users (One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, D18 P521, Ireland) on our website. Microsoft services are only used with your informed consent on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. Microsoft uses cookies in connection with the services and functions that may be stored on your device. The information generated by the cookies (e.g., about your use of the website) may be transmitted to a server in the United States and Ireland and stored there. This may also include your IP address. As a rule, your IP address is stored anonymously. Microsoft has submitted to the Data Privacy Framework. The transfer is certified under the Data Privacy Framework on the basis of Art. 45 GDPR (adequacy decision). Further information on the Data Privacy Framework can be found at https://www.dataprivacyframework.gov/s/.

We use the following Microsoft services and features:

Microsoft Clarity

This website uses Microsoft Clarity, a web analytics service provided by Microsoft Corporation (One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA) or Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited for EU users (One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, D18 P521, Ireland). Clarity is used to analyze user behavior in order to improve the usability of our website. Clarity collects the following data, among other things:

  • Interactions with the website (mouse movements, scrolling behavior, clicks, keyboard entries)
  • Heat maps and session replays (recording of user sessions in anonymized form)
  • Device and browser information (e.g., screen resolution, operating system, browser version)
  • Pseudonymized user IDs (via cookies or similar technologies)
  • IP address (transmitted in anonymized or truncated form)

In the webshop, no personal data (e.g., input fields for name, email, address) is recorded when the masking function is activated. Nevertheless, the data collected may be personally identifiable under certain circumstances. Processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of your consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR in conjunction with § 25 (1) TTDSG. You can revoke your consent at any time (e.g., via the cookie banner/consent tool). Clarity will not be loaded without consent. Alternatively, you can use your browser's do-not-track function.

The data is transferred to Microsoft servers in the EU/USA. Microsoft is subject to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (and has implemented appropriate safeguards). For more information about data processing by Microsoft, please refer to the Microsoft Privacy Statement and the Clarity Terms of Use.
